What is this website?
This site is a tool to assist you find the good value when looking to buy a used car in Norway. Analysis is based on data from Finn.no, and there is a custom metric called value score that is used to rank cars.
How does the value score work?
Value score is applied for cars that have the same branch, model, and production year. A car is considered better than another in terms of value if it has both a lower price and a lower km stand. Its value score is then calculated as the number of cars it is better than.
Who is this website for?
With data aggregated and visualized in charts, we hope that used cars buyers will have an easier time deciding which cars they should prioritize looking at. The search box can be utilized to narrow down the selection to a certain location, or to filter unsold cars.
Cars sellers can also use the site to get an idea of how their car compares to others on the market.
The sold cars statistics table is supposed to give an estimate of how long it takes to sell a model, and how much it is expected to be sold for.
